The Artemis Foundation conducts projects, presentations and activities to foster the development of knowledge and skills related to environmental sustainability, including but not limited to energy, waste, water and transportation management. It also provides support, financial or otherwise, to organizations, groups of charitable organizations which promote, advocate and raise awareness for financial sustainability.

One of the organizations the foundation has supported in recent years is the Make A Difference Alumni, a network of young individuals that share a common desire in leading lives that are more sustainable, towards an ecological-focused society. MADal supports enterprising leaders by convening opportunities for people of all ages and walks of life. It is out of MADal that the New Zealand Environmental Entrepreneurship Competition and other initiatives were created. The foundation is proud to continually support this life-changing organization for young people.
